JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Service Technician
Dept: Service
Reports to: Service Manager
Salary Range: $24.00/Hr. - $35.00/Hr.
As a Service tech for GCM you are the person who is responsible for addressing warranty issues for past GCM customers. This person is also responsible for the completion of smaller odd jobs sold by GCM, typically jobs requiring 2 days or less of production time. Tech would need to have all skills required.
You are responsible for knowing and understanding all job paperwork: Plans, specs. Any questions you have, or discrepancies you discover; should be checked with the service manager. You are required to maintain all job records as required by the office.
Typical workday is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and you are expected to take a 30 minute unpaid lunch. The service manager must approve any deviations from this.
When there is no service you will be working on job sites doing various duties.
Our expectations of an employee are to have good product knowledge, and to be self-sufficient, outgoing personality and good communication skills.
